IIT admission — eligibility, exam pattern, and syllabus
JEE Advanced is the second and final stage of the Joint Entrance Examination, conducted by one of the seven zonal coordinating IITs on a rotational basis. It is the sole entrance exam for admission to the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for undergraduate engineering programs.

Only top 2,50,000 JEE Main qualifiers can attempt. Success means admission to India's finest engineering institutions.
Questions are tougher than JEE Main and often need multi-step reasoning.
Must attempt both Paper 1 (morning) and Paper 2 (afternoon) on the same day. Both papers are equally important.
No other exam or entrance test required. JEE Advanced rank directly determines IIT admission through JoSAA counselling.
